I am so proud to continue his legacy, and my goal now is to help ensure our Valley remains a vibrant community where my own kids —and anyone who calls this place home—can live, work, and thrive.

As a sixth-generation Wenatchee Valley resident, my roots here run deep. Like many families in our area, my great-great-grandfather originally moved here for the opportunity to work in agriculture, laying a foundation for the generations that followed.

I am so proud to continue his legacy, and my goal now is to help ensure our Valley remains a vibrant community where my own kids — and anyone who calls this place home — can live, work, and thrive.

Why I'm Running

Fixing a broken system means being inside the office that runs it.

Property taxes are the foundation of our public infrastructure and fund the essentials that keep Chelan County running — our roads, fire stations, local police, schools, and parks. None of us love paying taxes, but we can all agree they are necessary to keep our community safe, healthy, and thriving.

But a tax system only works if it is fair. Right now, Chelan County's property tax assessments are profoundly broken, and everyday homeowners are paying the price.

Through my daily work in real estate and home appraisals, I started noticing a very troubling trend when it comes to our property taxes. The most expensive, high-end properties in our county are consistently being assessed at hundreds of thousands of dollars below their actual market value. To make matters worse, these homes are often second or even third homes owned by individuals who do not actually live in our community.

Meanwhile, modest, starter homes and working-class properties are being assessed at — or often above — what they could realistically sell for in today's market.

I am not advocating for higher taxes. I am demanding accurate ones.

We cannot fix our housing crisis until we fix our tax assessments. If elected Assessor, I will bring my real estate and appraisal expertise to advocate for total transparency, systemic audits to ensure luxury properties are evaluated as strictly as affordable homes, and protections for the families who form the backbone of Chelan County.
